Drenched in blood, sweat and pain
my thirst unquenched by mortal rain
i shiver and run from the harmful light
i retreat once again to the peaceful night
where at each passing a life must be taken
and they lie still forever, never to awaken
i leave my mark on the softness of their skin
the mark on their neck left from the monster within
i may live to be a thousand years old
my blood is boiling but my body cold
my image not change, nor can i see my reflection
another bag of woes, to add to my collection
never to feel the sun shine on my face
for darkness has now taken its place
food nor wine cannot satisfy, my ever tender need
but human flesh i must taste, and eternally ever feed
and though i feed on the living, i myself am dead
and when the daylight breaks, my coffin becomes my bed
this is my curse, the life a vampire
to never have peace, to never retire
to kill the innocent to quench my thirst
to live an eternal life of eternally being cursed [/align]
